Merseyside Photography Workshop Courses
Merseyside has a wealth of locations worth visiting with a camera and this is the reason why I return often to run one day workshops. My favourite locations range the waterfront and Albert Docks in Liverpool, to Perch Rock Lighthouse in New Brighton on the other side of the Mersey. Liverpool itself boasts a wealth of stunning architecture ranging from the beautiful 105 year old Royal Liver Building to the ultra modern Museum of Liverpool which overlooks the grandest of the buildings on the waterfront. The Albert Docks too provides plenty of opportunity to photograph its waters and the surrounding buildings not to mention the big wheel that sits alongside the impressive Echo Arena.
If you are wanting an urban day out with your camera, Liverpool really is the place to be however if what you are wanting to capture is a bit of beautiful coastline with interesting subjects to shoot, look now further then the iconic 94 foot Perch Rock Lighthouse which is located close by to Perch Rock Fort in New Brighton, on the other side of the Mersey tunnel. This lighthouse is positioned next to the concrete sea defence wall which is worth photographing due to the unusual shapes and designs. The beach itself extends around ten miles up towards West Kirby taking in Meols Beach and the numerous boats that sit idle on the beach ready and waiting to be photographed. All in all, definitely a coastline worth photographing and I offer one day workshops to allow you the opportunity to do just that.
